This lovely polished, Waterdrop drop shaped Indian Sunstone is wire weaved in sterling silver non tarnish wire. This was very enjoyable to wire wrap. The bail is one weaving technique going down and all the way around this shiny stone. I used 2 different wire wrapping techniques for this intricately wire wrapped pendant. The frame holds the stone in place nice and snug. It is wire wrapped with a Victorian like style. This is 22 Carats of rare Indian Sunstone.

Sunstone is a plagioclase feldspar, which when viewed from certain directions exhibits a spangled appearance. It has been found in Southern Norway, Sweden, and various United States localities. Sunstone is in the same crystal family as moonstone and labradorite.
