Agate is a quartz based mineral. This is scientifically amethyst from Indonesia. They call it grape agate because of the spherical ball crystal structure. These show a nice light purple. I wire wrapped them in sterling silver half round wire. I used half round wire, to comfort the wire to the stones. The hooks are sterling silver as well. These are very cute dainty earrings showing raw form crystal. These would be a great gift for friends and loved ones,
