These lovely one of a kind earrings feature green matte Czech Glass beads are known as the Star Of Ishtar. The Star of Ishtar or Star of Inanna is a Mesopotamian symbol of the ancient Sumerian goddess Inanna and her East Semitic counterpart Ishtar. Ishtar is mostly associated with the planet Venus, which is also known as the morning star. The inlay of color on these beads are a beautiful shiny rainbow color when they are in the natural light. I wire wrapped them in non tarnish copper wire, and added copper beads. The hooks are stainless steel.
