Charoite is a gorgeous stone. It is known for its unique swirling and shiny fibrous appearance. It is mined out of the Charo river in Russia. Its color is beautifully purple. The magnesium minerals in the earth is what makes the purple colors. It has a nice polish on the front side, and a matte polish on the back side. This piece is sure to make a statement on anyone who wears it.
