A Fire Within

Sterling silver wire wrap with a colorful opal as the stone sitting on a vintage table

This is a very special piece.

Another one of my most cherished favorites.

(I almost kept it for myself). When I set my eyes on this opal. I thought sterling silver wire would be the perfect metal to wrap this in. The surface of this Cantera Fire Opal shows a beautiful shimmering rainbow in the shape of a crescent moon, and I couldn't help but make it a piece of wire wrapped art. This piece was definitely a one of a kind. I created this back in 2021. When I look at this wire wrap pendant. It makes me think of the moon and the beautiful night sky. A galaxy in a world framed in glistening silver. This was one of my favorite creations. Even though it lives somewhere on this earth. I still miss it, and am very proud of this one. Being happy, and in love, with my own works of art lights A Fire Within Me. I hope you appreciate the uniqueness of this stunning wire wrap pendant, just like I did when I created it. The intricate design and the shimmering rainbow of the Cantera Fire Opal make it truly one-of-a-kind.

  • A Keeper For Keeps

After creating this pendant, IĀ faced a dilemma - should I sell it or keep it for myself? In the end, I decided to keep it as my first best piece. It was a decision I have never regretted even being asked if it's for sale. This pendant has been a constant companion for the past 6 years, and it still looks as stunning as the day that I finished it.
